  1. I was really disappointed. I’ve eaten here a lot and the quality has always been great. But my order was spicier than I’d asked for, and the rice tasted off. My malai kofta was just mush, no defined dumplings. It was both too spicy and had WAY more dairy than it normally does. My lassi was lumpy and so sweet it hurt my teeth.

  2. Our lamb curry was bland and lacking in flavor. The bagara baingan was underseasoned (which is unusual for Madras Masala). The chilli paneer, however, was quite good; it was not as laden with spice as it often can be, which was appreciated.

  3. This was my first time ordering here and I was ready to take off another star because the food was about 45 min late. HOWEVER, I understand the current state of the world is impacting all kinds of businesses negatively. I’m sure it also didn’t help that it was a Friday night and the weather was kind of crappy. When it eventually did arrive the food was REALLY GOOD. The driver was also friendly and greeted me from a distance after dropping my order off at my door. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

  4. We initially received the wrong order, but we were able to call them and they were super great about working with us to correct what happened. The food is always delicious, this was the first time we ever had an issue and it was resolved well. Madras Masala is our go-to for great Indian food in the Ann Arbor area and will continue to be so!

  5. We order Madras a lot – we are big fans of the fresh spices and not overly creamy food. Tonight, our garlic naan was undercooked (raw and soggy) and out butter chicken had large, barely cooked chunks of chicken (normally bite sized, seasoned and charred). Otherwise top notch as usual.

  6. Half my order was missing upon arrival. I called and was told “sorry we can’t do anything about it. We’ll just give you what is missing next time.” (1) As if I would order from them again, and (2) the fact that they didn’t do anything to ameliorate the problem, such as reducing cost, offering free food, or trying to find a way to get the missing food to the destination, is absolutely unacceptable.

  7. Probably the best samosa I’ve ever eaten in my life. The kafta was silky and Rich I’m comforting delicious. The Kashmiri naan was perfect.

  8. I order food and I did not get it delivered. The website showed it was delivered. I called grubhub and they were not able to do anything because the restaurant were incharge for delivery. This was a worst experience. I do not think I will use grub hub nor order in the restaurant.

  9. I have been a regular customer to this restaurant. I visit there often and have ordered regularly. This particular experience was one of the most unpleasant as the Kadhai Paneer we ordered was not cooked the right way and was tasteless. I have faced issues with delivery etc before but never with the food and this particular one was really unfortunate. I love this place but the quality this time was really not acceptable.
