A brief history of Raising Cane

Raising Сane was founded some 22 years ago by Todd Graves and Craig Silvey. Its seat at the time of inception was Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Later, other support offices were opened in Plano, Texas and North Platte, Nebraska. The restaurant grew rapidly, and it is still growing, with several restaurants scheduled to be opened in March 2019. Currently, the restaurant chain has over 420 locations.

One interesting thing about this restaurant is that it is the execution of a business plan that the founders wrote while in college. This plan was actually rejected several times by investors. However, its founders were very determined to see their plan work, and at some point, they both worked as fishermen to raise capital to start the restaurant. When it finally came into being, it was named after Grave’s dog.

Its menu items

Variety may be the spice of life, but at Raising Cane, the menu items are limited. They are dominated by chicken finger meals. Perhaps that is why the quality of the meals is unparalleled. The restaurant specializes in the 3-finger combo, Caniac, the box combo, and the sandwich combo. There is also the kid’s combo and tailgates. Sweetened and unsweetened tea, as well as soft drinks, are also served.

You just need to examine how each meal is prepared to understand why the quality is unquestionable. For instance, chicken-laden meals are prepared using fresh chicken, French fries are prepared using Grade A potatoes while the Texas toast is prepared using sesame seeded pull-apart bread. The exact recipes are not available to the public, though each meal is accompanied by a nutritional guideline. In my honest opinion, Raising Cane’s menu prices are low for the quality of food served here.

What attracts people to Raising Cane?

You may have realized that all Raising Cane restaurants are always a bee-hive of activities wherever they are located. One thing that people like about Raising Cane is the quality of food. You don’t get such high-quality chicken meals elsewhere. Their prices are also very reasonable. Once you visit any Raising Cane restaurant, you are always sure to come back.

Milestones

Raising canes is growing rapidly in the US and outside. It currently has locations in 27 US states. It has also amassed more than 130 locations globally as of 2019. This restaurant also prides itself in helping communities through its elaborate social responsibility programs. More than 25% of its profits go into community-based programs such as feeding the homeless and educating the poor. It took part in the Lemonade Day celebration recently, a program that trains children to manage their business at their tender ages.

Overall verdict

If you are a lover of chicken finger meals, you will never enjoy a good meal until you have visited Raising Cane. • I agree on larger size cole slaw
Also, make it easier for the worker and me to get that small senior discount. It’s embarrassing to hold the line up to get a manager to come approve it.
