  1. wrote special instructions to driver to make delivery easier (my condo building is tricky) and he didn’t follow them, just went to main address. He was very nice and apologetic! So it was fine, just a bit extra work on my part

  2. The sushi was not very good. I had two rolls and the escolar sashimi. The escolar tasted vaguely like dirt, like it had been rinsed in minerally water. Neither of my rolls tasted like much at all; the cucumber was the strongest flavor, which was disappointing because I love fish and crab both. The lobster dumplings were tasty. I hate writing bad reviews, but I’m now staring at 3/4 of two different specialty rolls without any desire to have another bite of either. This is honestly unheard of for me, and I’m pretty bummed. Anyone want some sushi?

  3. My high schooler LOVES sushi and often does not have enough time to eat the school lunch. We started using GrubHub to supplement his nutrition on those days that his schedule did not allow for time to eat enough good food. Now he is happier to be at school learning.

  4. I was very pleased with the food. I was not pleased with the delivery person. He was 10 mins late and I had to go downstairs to get my food. He said the streets were blocked and all of the temporary parking was blocked off. This was not true.

  5. I was quite pleased at the taste of the food and the speed at which it arrived; however my sushi was squished all the way to one side of the container and that side had been smashed, like something heavy had sat on it. I might order again but I’m disappointed in this meal.

  6. The restaurant was fine (I’ve ordered from there before), and I got my food fairly quickly. I am sad, however, the half of the order was completely wrong. I contacted customer care and they refunded the part of my order that was wrong. I’ll check to see if the money actually makes its way to my account, though…. ?

  7. Ordered the rainbow roll and crab puffs. Crab puffs were just fried dough, only half a teaspoon of crab inside each 4 puffs that cost $6. Rainbow roll as decent but not worth the price, did not taste fresh. Asked specifically in notes for wasabi and ginger and did not receive any. Not worth the money, poor quality, will not go back

  8. There was no daikon radish in my chirashi. They went overboard with the roasted garlic on top of the escolar and whatever red sauce they add to the snapper, wasn’t able to taste the fish because of it. I expected a bit of variety on the fish but only got 4 types of the cheapest fish available. The food was good, but underwhelming. Miso soup was good.

  9. This food made me sick, and I was charged for and received 2 separate orders that were pretty much identical, when I was just trying to add dessert. Now I have an extra order of food I cannot eat, because the first order made me very ill. I can’t believe nobody caught this error. I would like a full refund for both orders please.

  10. We ordered the caterpillar roll. It was tiny and did not come with wasabi, ginger or soy sauce. It tasted OK. We also ordered the sesame chicken. The eggroll it came with tasted like Totino’s–the egg drop soup was not great either ( bland and flavorless). The rice and actual sesame chicken were fair. Overpriced, average food.

  11. Food wasn’t that good The bowl of miso soup was about 1/3 full Instead of full I did call them The delivery guy had difficult time finding the call box All the delivery services I use 8-9 of them seem to feel the customer should meet them downstairs in front of our building I use delivery services so I can get food at my door Many do not want to get out of there car! I think what services don’t understand is our food costs 35-48% more we DO EXPECT the “to the door” service !! But I’ll use you again

  12. I ordered ramen to go before and it was great but not from here. Tasted kinda bad. I also got sushi and the put it on top of the hot ramen soup. So with it behind delivered sitting on top that hot food for 30min. Safe to say I didn’t eat it. Won’t be going back here for any orders to go. Maybe not at all.

  13. My driver was fantastic but the food was only so-so. It took over an hour for them to prepare my food and contact my driver that it was ready. It may be a better experience in person but I was underwhelmed with my order experience tonight.

  14. I ordered ramen and sushi on this day and neither dish really felt satisfying. The ramen: all of the expected ingredients wete there, but the flavor and texture just didn’t do it for me. The sushi nigiri was delicious, but the maki didn’t taste as fresh as I was expecting.

  15. The food was fine. They could have put the soy sauce in little plastic containers instead of the squeezable packets. It’s hard to use in that form. The main problem was that delivery was about 45 minutes late. I’m not sure whose fault it was. Somehow the GrubHub app sent the driver to the emergency room where my wife had been three days previous after she was in an accident. We never ordered food to that location, so I don’t know how that happened. When I checked the order, it listed our home address. So I don’t know why the driver’s GPS sent him to the hospital. It’s at most a 15 minute drive from that emergency room to our apartment. I know because I made that trip ten times last week. We ordered the food at 8pm so there was no traffic. After I gave the driver the correct address, it took him an additional 45 minutes to get to our apartment. He didn’t contact me that entire time. I had to call him. When I did call him, he was still not in the correct location, and I had to walk to meet him. We ordered sushi, and when he gave it to me, I asked him if it was okay to eat it. His reaction was, “Oh, come on, man.” I mean, it’s raw fish. It hadn’t been refrigerated. I don’t know how long it can be in his car and still be safe to eat. I’m sure he doesn’t either, but his reaction could have been more polite and helpful. In the end, probably not entirely his fault the order was late. GrubHub needs to work on that problem. I’m sure it was difficult for him, too, but after showing up that late with our food, he could have been more helpful.
