  1. 2 out of the 3 items ordered were prepared incorrectly admittedly at the fault of Serranos. After a conversation with the manager, they remade the 2 dishes and I picked them up. Inconvenient but I appreciate that they corrected the issue. The food is always good but the staff needs to pay closer attention to the order details.

  2. for the second time in 6 orders, Serranos got the order wrong. Nothing worse than waiting for dinner and then the order is not what you asked for. It is a pain to contact Grubhub to fix it. They reimburse you after they contact the food source, and that is a long time on hold. Then you have to re-order and wait some more. Getting to be not worth it.

  3. Second time in a row that the restaurant has put flour tortillas in an order where I selected corn tortillas. This time I put in the request line that I selected corn tortillas, and I saw on my receipt from the restaurant that they put “Soft Corn Tortillas”. So, I’m concerned about the lack of accuracy to say the least. The delivery was also an hour after projected del time, GH chat had me in 99th queue so I assumed it was hopeless to get an accurate ETA. Ordered before 12 ASAP and was sent a confirmation email saying that the restaurant confirmed it. Looked at the restaurant receipt and it says order was created at 1:03, so it doesn’t really seem like they really confirmed the order an hour before actually starting.

  4. I asked them to make sure my food was hot, it wasn’t. I asked them make sure no beans were in the chimichanga, and there were. I guess taking heed to customer’s requests is too much to ask. I was seriously disappointed with my food. This is the second order that I have received where they did not honor my request, so I don’t think I am going with them anymore. Thanks, though..

  5. I ordered food to go off the Grubhub site, I was ot shop I picked it up. I was shocked to see how much more the food prices are if you use Grubhub. Then the app tried to get me to leave a tip as well, even though I picked up the food, including having to park and go inside. The food was not hot. The chimichanga was barely fried and it was soft, not the way it should have been. They gave me some chips that were all broken up into little pieces. The food didn’t have much seasoning, it was very bland. I do not plan to order from them again.

  6. I ordered queso. There were no chips with my order. The driver called me and was lost so I happily gace him very specific directions. I offered to walk outside to wave him down. He asked if i could meet him at the apartment office. I explained that I had my toddler with me and it would be a while if I did that. He finally started driving around my complex sounding frustrated and in a raised voice, told me what building numbers he saw until he spotted mine. I wish he had done that in the first place. I still walked out in front of my building to greet him. I think it was unprofessional to ask me to drive around my complex to meet him. It basically would have been pointless to order delivery because i was specifically trying to not tote my toddler with me and make it an easy dinner.

  7. I waited over a hour for my food. Food cold by the time it got here and wasn’t placed neatly in the box but i will say it did taste good. For some reason the app says my food was deliver at 9:40pm but really 9:58pm. I made my order at 8 and just don’t understand why it took so long. Serrano’s still serves great food just mad at how long it took

  8. The restaurant was fine. The delivery process was not as good. The food was extremely cold. We had to warm up or food in the microwave which took away some flavor. Driver was not able to follow simple instructions to find my apartment. He left an order behind. He didnt check to see if the order was correct. The offered a refund but one person was without a meal and we had to end up driving to pick up dinner anyway. I wish they would refund my tip!

The thunder was intense, almost as intense as the rumbling in our stomaches, and as the rain came down, I wondered if the fajitas I ordered would be delayed…My fears were dashed, as fine as the cilantro, and as the heroic driver arrived, I ran to greet him in the pouring rain… thank you for braving the storms, the food was great.

  10. This is my 2nd time using GH. My order was being prepared at 5:36pm but was not “on the way” until 6:50pm. It was finally delivered almost 1.5 hrs after I placed the order. The order was delivered without napkins or forks to a hotel. Have you ever tried to eat rice and beans with your fingers? For $40 I am very unimpressed. I do not think I will use GrubHub again. If I wasn’t new to the area I would definitely have gone with another option after waiting that long for a dinner to eat with my fingers.

  11. They left off the rice in a spicy dish and refused to make it right claiming that the rice was “free” anyway. Very disappointing. It wasn’t free because I didn’t get any. Also, spicy food needs rice to offset the heat. I would have ordered it as a side but saw that it was to come with. The dish was one of the more expensive items so I expected it to be better than usual not worse. Boo Serranos!!

  12. Normally I like serranos food a lot. The spice level and flavor is usually quite good. This order proved to be an exception. I got the chicken chimichanga, which is huge, and when I went to eat my leftovers, my third bite had a small chicken bone in it. I dont know if there were more or not as I stopped eating immediately. I’m just glad I found it before trying to swallow. The queso was good. I’ll most likely eat at Serranos again, I just wont be eating that item again.

  13. I pre-ordered the food to be delivered after a certain time because we would not be home, but was delivered 10 minutes early and left on the front porch. To make things worse, we ordered 4 meals and only 1 was in the bag. I called the delivery guy (that I pre-tipped 20%) and he said to call Grubhub or the restaurant to figure it out. GRUBHUB DOES NOT ANSWER THE PHONE, EVER! I called the restaurant and had to re-order the food and go pick it up myself. This is the 3rd time I have had a problem with Grubhub and will never use them again.

  14. The fried avocado tacos are amazing! We added fajita chicken, which was cooked perfectly. The sauce had just enough spice for the cabbage. The crunchy corn tortillas require two hands and were completely filled with goodness. The food here is always fantastic and the portions are perfect. Thank you for making awesome food!

  15. I’m willing to overlook the missing side of rice because the ground beef was separated from the queso and tacos like I had requested, which means nothing was soggy ???? Nothing worse than crispy tacos that aren’t crisp. Everything was delicious!

  16. Food was overly greasy and sloppily packaged. Food from Serranos is typically very good. This was not a good meal in the slightest bit. Perhaps just ordered the wrong thing for a to-go order. Driver respected my no contact request, however, did not place order where I requested.

  17. We have ordered from Serrano’s many times through GrubHub. Tonight our meal came 30 minutes late. Our food looked like it had been upside down. We ordered 2 chicken enchilada meals and one was ground beef. We’ll eat it, but we like chicken better. Hopefully next time it’ll all be correct.

  18. Got my order wrong, again. I said No peppers and NO onions and the tacos were full of them, probably trying to hide the tiny about of chicken.. And they forgot to include beans i paid extra for. This was the 4th time i order from them and the last time.

  19. Ordered 5 tacos. They came in this huge corn tortilla that had very little stuff in it. I tore off half the tortilla and still had plenty of room for the contents. The pork was horrible. I bit into what I thought wasp pork, but it ended up being 100% fat. Each taco only had like 4-5 small pieces of meat in it, with some pieces just pure fat. I love onions, but they put way too many onions in each taco (I suspect to make it look like it actually contained stuff). Ughh…I will never order from this place again.

  20. The driver was good. Got my order to me on time, and texted me like I asked. Even though the food was good, as it usually is from Serranos, this one was a rare miss. My chicken nachos arrived WITH NO CHICKEN!!! Just bean and cheese nachos. Every thing else was correct, and the high quality I have come to expect from Serrano’s Lakeline.

  21. The food as always, is excellent and just the way I ordered it! The driver however, was a different story. It’s been almost an hour since my food was dropped off and I am STILL waiting for him to notify me the way I asked for. Had I not been watching the screen, I wouldn’t know that my food was delivered. Is it really that hard to send a text message?
