  1. I received my order at 7:25 after placing it at 5:28. Admittedly its raining out currently and that may surge the amount of delivery orders y’all receive but, two hours? I ordered the Tofu and Veggie Pad Thai and almost called to ask if y’all forgot the sauce after I received it. After I tried the luke-warm noodles I realized they had a light coating of peanut-y oil, so I’m assuming thats the pad thai “sauce”. The noodles at the bottom of my container where stuck together in mass globs that had to be ripped apart. I had to put it in the microwave after I stirred it up because it was almost cold. I would maybe have enjoyed it if I had never ordered pad thai before in my life but this was… different.

  2. I live in Austin Texas I love Thai Kitchen it was a wonderful experience I had some problems with GrubHub but that was resolved by a wonderful customer service rep in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, if you can find out who that is I can assure you she was so good probably one of the best customer services I’ve ever had please recognize her great work thank you

  3. Delivery time changed multiple times when tracking, and the site versus what the restaurant said were completely different. My initial quoted time was 35-45 minutes but it was actually delivered an hour 10 mins later. The food came with a lot of chopped up celery mixed in which was not in the description. If I knew it had celery in it I would have definitely not ordered it. Never ordering from them again. Actually, I might just stop using Grubhub since this is my third issue with them.

  4. I did not get all my egg roll, the custard was hard, and my drunken noodles were not what I expected. They’re supposed to have *something* other than noodles and meat, usually at least something green. If I’d known paying extra for extra meat would mean losing out on the veggies, I wouldn’t have done it. I want a refund for the egg roll I didn’t get, and I’ll remember not to order from here in the future

  5. Steak was tan/white and had a strange taste and smell, I removed it in hopes I could still salvage the fried rice, but it had already permeated and wasn’t salvageable. The fried chicken dumplings were just okay, edible enough. I received 4 sides of what appeared to be teriyaki sauce and it was spilled throughout the whole bag. Overall, perhaps it would have been better to eat in the restaurant. I just won’t be ordering online again. The delivery by grubhub itself was on-time and the driver was very courteous!

  6. I ordered and paid for extra rice, but there was no rice included in my order. The food was more than an hour later than its estimated time and I was never warned about a delay. The food was not very good. I ordered drunken noodles. It was plenty spicy but otherwise not very flavorful, and the meat and noodles were dry

  7. The food was 40 minutes late. The driver was polite, but did not acknowledge how late the food had come. They also chose to deliver to other people after picking my food up even though my house is around the corner from the restaurant and at that time was already 20 minutes late. I reached out to customer service. The service I received there was dismal. The person left the chat before he answered my question – I was supposed to receive some sort of discount by email but didn’t, and before helping me with that, he brushed me off and disconnected (and not because I wasn’t responding). This whole experience has been extremely annoying. I paid for your service and tipped your employee, the food should at least come within the specified delivery window. If not, customer service should reach out. Neither happened. I believe any customer in this position should be compensated. If someone else in customer service brushes off my issue, I will make a point to never use GrubHub again – there are endless other options to choose from, hopefully with a better sense of how to treat their customers.

  8. The driver was extremely late. He called and then immediately hung up. I called the number back, assuming it was the driver and he told me he was here and described his car. I go down and don’t see him, so I called back and stayed on the phone for a full 30 minutes, outside in the cold, trying to explain over a language barrier, expecting him to arrive any minute. Several times I had to repeat myself and my location, which is a popular spot for delivery on campus, that I have had food delivered to before. This was absolutely ridiculous. I double checked, the address I had given the app was correct. I am extremely unsatisfied with this delivery service.

  9. Delayed over an hour. Restaurant wouldn’t answer the phone. Finally got the food and no fork or spoon to eat with and wasn’t in a spot that had fork and spoon. The driver was a victim of circumstance. Terrible customer service from both the restaurant and Grubhub. Food was ok but cold.

  10. Kinda pricy for sliced meat smothered in a sauce with a little bit of rice. However, the Indian Curry with chicken was comfort food and reminded me of the simple yellow curry chicken my dad used to make. The sliced beef in the red curry ended up being pork, not beef, but the sauce was good. This kitchen doesn’t seem to understand that substitutions are not ok unless you call the customer immediately and ask. The driver was nice enough, but seemed very lost and uncomfortable with where he was, making me come out to meet him in the street, and in the urgency of his confusion, I didn’t have time to grab my cane. Would I order it again? Maybe, if I was thinking about my dad’s curry dish.

  11. I was so let down by this place. Our food arrived looking like it had been dropped with zero utensils or napkins. The portions were tiny for the price, we each ordered fried rice both with extra protein for an upcharge and they hadn’t done that. They arrived in small plastic bowls. I got the chicken satay appetizer and I knew as soon as I looked at it, that it wasn’t cooked. I took a bite just to see and I felt the hard chewy texture of raw chicken. I couldn’t eat any of it after that. It cost us $50 for this! I tried calling the restaurant but I couldn’t get through to anyone. I’ll never order here again that’s for sure.

  12. I order from Thai Kitchen often. I gotta say this latest order was disappointing. My soup was double the price so i expect double the soup. Not the case. My veggie Pad Thai had maybe two broccoli florets. They shouldn’t advertise veggies if mainly sending out noodles and a meager lime slice. Thank goodness I had some veggies in my fridge to add to it. Friday night bummed.

  13. I ordered tofu pad Thai which I’ve had there before and loved it. I have no idea what happened to my order today but it was terrible. The noodles were undercooked, the sauce was runny and there was celery and whole mushrooms in it. The tofu was awful. It was rubbery and tasted old. The side of peanut sauce tasted fine but was runny and not thick like it has been before. Not a good food experience at all.

  14. The veggie pad Thai was really bland. It didn’t seem like they put any sauce on it at all. The shells for the crab rangoons were super thick, and just weren’t as delicious and “melt-in-your-mouth” as I’ve had from other restaurants. The drunk noodles weren’t spicy like the menu said either.

  15. Caution: some food is extremely hot and spicy! I love hot food but this was too hot…first time of ordering from this restaurant and the spice level was not very clear. So, use caution when ordering. Hopefully they can clarify the spice level for first-timers. Delivery: I allowed the app to use my location. Unfortunately, it was NOT accurate and therefore some of my food was tepid (crunchy spring rolls), but the edamame and the “Tiger Cry” was still warm. The driver did his best and was very courteous and responsive. Overall, if the food hadn’t been so spicy without clear guidance, I’d probably have given a 4 star. It’s hard to give ANY fast food/delivery a 5 star. Hope this helps!

  16. I enjoyed the first time I ordered the beef salad but the second time I could eat much of it because the beef was cut too thick and really tough. Also there was not enough sauce/dressing for the salad this time. I ended up throwing it out.

  17. Driver didn’t follow instructions on how to enter the building. I had to come meet him and show him the door. Honest mistake. However no napkins or plastic ware. I just moved in and don’t have anything to eat with. Main dish was horrible and a small portion. Food was grey and unappealing. Horrible waste of $28 for a soup and entree.

  18. The food was pretty good but I did have two problems: There were no napkins included, there were no utensils included! I was in a hotel room at almost 9 PM and now I had to get dressed, go down 6 floors, and make sure I had a way of actually eating the food. A little more attention to detail could make all the difference in the world!

  19. I consistently really like the food I get from Thai Kitchen. This time, the Penang curry seemed like it had a little bit more oil in it than before, but it was still good. It wasn’t as tangy as previous times also, but I still enjoyed it. There may have been a different cook preparing at this time. I still gave them a 5 rating because they deserve it. Keep up the good work.

  20. The Pad Thai was great. Also ordered the “Pretty but Hot Dinner Special“. While it’s certainly listed as hot and spicy, this was ridiculous. Either make it clear it is deathly spicy, or don’t dump the entire bottle of ghost peppers into the dish. One fork full of food was all that was possible for this ridiculous dish. I eat plenty of spicy food, but this was far above and beyond anything I’ve ever been served.

  21. Well packaged and delicious! I placed a pickup order and my food was ready right on time which made for a quick and easy hand off. I ordered the green cury with chicken. It was spicy but not too spicy and a decent portion with a good amount of meat.

  22. The food was very flavorful. I’m giving 4stars because I added a special instruction for mild green curry but this curry is burning my mouth. I’m from. Africa so I’m used to hot food but this was ridiculous, especially after stating I wanted it mild. I’m upset because I can’t enjoy my food

  23. Asked for them to omit one item from the dish….they did that but took it upon themselves to add multiple items to the dish to make up for the meat I did not want…..they added an item that I am allergic to so had to throw the dish out. Very disappointing.
