Wingstop

Wingstop Inc. is an aviation-themed restaurant chain headquartered in Richardson, Texas, United States. It was founded by Antonio Swad and Bernadette Fiaschetti 25 years ago. Today, it is a public company trading as NASDAQ: WING.

A brief history of Wingstop

Wingstop was founded in Garland, Texas in 1994 as small chicken wing restaurant specializing in Buffalo-style chicken meals. The founders, who had formed Pizza Patrón earlier had a passion for classic and boneless wings with different flavors. It did not take long for the queues at Wingstop restaurants to start getting too long to handle and in 1997, the company started offering franchises. The franchising business boomed.

Growth and development

Wingstop menu prices, awesome hospitality, and high-quality food are some of the factors that fueled the growth of this restaurant chain when franchising began. With more than 1,100 locations scattered all over the world today, there is no doubt that people adore Wingstop.

Indeed, wherever it was introduced, it took the restaurant industry by the storm. Notably, apart from the United States, Wingstop has thrived in Indonesia, Mexico, Panama, Colombia, Singapore, Malaysia, UK, the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. No wonder the Nation’s Restaurant News recognizes Wingstop as a top restaurant brand in the US.

What makes Wingstop tick?

One thing that people like about Wingstop is that it is not a fast food restaurant. Wings are cooked only when ordered. That is why its wings are the freshest you will taste in the market. You will not see microwaves anywhere around Wingstop restaurants. Surprisingly, Wingstop is also not a full-service restaurant. It calls itself a fast-casual restaurant.

Wingstop menu

Wingstop menu items majorly include boneless and classic wings, chicken strips, dips, and sides. Since its inception, Wingstop has put flavor at the top of its agenda. With more than 10 flavors today and counting, there are no indications that it will stop. Atomic, Garlic Parmesan, and Original Hot are some of the flavors that welcome you to Wingstop. Others include Louisiana Rub, Hawaiian, and Hickory Smoked BBQ.

When you visit any Wingstop restaurant, choose the individual combo option if you are alone. Here, the options include a small 6-piece wing combo, medium 8-piece wing combo, and a large 10-piece wing combo. If you are in the company of your friends or family members, the group packs will do you justice. There is a 15-piece meal for two, a 100-piece pack for 13 people and everything in between. Sides, dips, drinks, and desserts are also served. It is worth noting that the sides are excellent on their own. Notice that each menu item is customizable, giving you all the freedom you need to treat yourself like a king. For the freshness and quality of food served, Wingstop menu prices are very reasonable and you have no reason not to enjoy its wings.

Overall verdict

Wingstop is your restaurant of choice if you are a fan of chicken wings. No one does wings better so don’t waste your time looking around. Additionally, if you compare Wingstop menu prices with those of other similar restaurants, you will realize that Wingstop gives you great value for your money. Perhaps that explains why it is a public company and not a private one like many other restaurants.
