Dutch Bros history
The chain store was started by two brothers Travis Boersma and Dane. At first, the two brothers were dairy farmers who later decided to venture into coffee blending after buying an espresso machine. After buying a hundred pounds of coffee and an espresso machine, they then tried different blends to know the best which can work well for them. After mixing different blends, they decided to perfect their business after which it developed to a reputable chain store.
They first opened the first location in 1992. The two brother’s success was made possible due to the great help they received from family and friends as they were testing the coffee beans. Their first pushcart stand was first established in Grants Pass, Oregon. Due to the great hit the stand made, they decided to open more stands which lead to their rapid growth of the business.
Dutch Bros signature blend consists of a three-bean roast which is made from the finest beans which were obtained from El Salvador, Brazil. They also sourced some of their coffee beans from Columbia. They base their success on the love and care they always maintain when preparing the coffee. Employees and customers at the store are treated well which led to everybody who has been served feel happy. Back in 2012, they were rated the best when it comes to customer satisfaction. The company has grown to have more than 200 stores which are spread across the United States. Couples and lovers who enjoy soft drinks such as coffee have the reason to smile after they visit the chain restaurant.
