Brother Z grew up in Texas eating Brother-in-Law Vernon’s delicious hot dogs and fish tacos and has decided to take on the family business. The Wang Shack food truck was inspired by brother-in-law Vernon’s motto “If you’re not buying your hot dog from the brothers, you’re doing it wrong.” When asked about this brother-in-law said, “I had one dream that Brother Z would come back to the family business and carry on my legacy”.

Brother Z’s Wang Shack is a food truck that serves up classic American comfort food. This Wang Shack offers you the best of classic American food. From hot dogs and hamburgers to chicken-fried steak, Brother Z’s has got your comfort food cravings covered.

Their BBQ menu includes pulled pork sandwiches and ribs with Brother Z’s restaurant’s very own BBQ sauce. Brother Z says that his BBQ sauce contains a “magic ingredient,” but he refuses to disclose the recipe because it would be an unfair advantage. Wang Shack`s menu also contains gizzards and liver, for those who are feeling particularly adventurous.

Design and concept

The design of Brother Z’s Wang Shack relies on tourist knowledge of iconic American landmarks. The massive white truck has red stripes with stars painted on it, just like the American flag. On top of this, there are several images of hot dogs with captions such as “hot dog champion” or “hot dog hero”.

Special features

There are several items located around the restaurant that aid you in consuming your meal more efficiently. Near the Wang Shack, a special hot dog lasso has been installed, where one may grab his or her hot dog from Brother Z’s hands with ease. You can also marvel at the “DURRR” grill, which is told to be specially made for cooking gizzards and liver available on the menu.

Brother Z aims to make all customers feel welcome in his Wang Shack. He encourages customers to take a food selfie with him and their food before they eat it! Brother Z also provides free soda refills.
