The history of the restaurant

Peter Hastings and his spouse started the antique shop in 1977. And they began serving something to eat to their customers who came to the shop and the food was really delicious. The couple sold the company for a young entrepreneur Bryant Keil in 1996. He was enthusiastic to keep the shop live with sandwiches. And since then, he has always been trying to keep the company and wherever it is placed in the United States.

How their menu changed over time

During the period 2005 – 2008 Potbelly had 100 stores and the 200th one came up in 2008. Over the years, Potbelly diversified in favor of opening a breakfast location in various parts of Chicago. In addition, Potbelly has added various dishes to the sandwich meal.

The company has also the biggest antique store. Even when the company went beyond the United States to London, the antique stove remains the undenied mascot of the company.
