Overall a good experience! Our fries were a bit cold but we didn’t really mind because they just went with the leftovers for tomorrow’s lunch. Huge portions for the price. Also, the order arrived way earlier than projected!
This was the first time I’ve ever ordered from Ahmo’s- my roommate and I needed dinner while studying for finals. The delivery was quick and the food tasted great ??
The driver came earlier than expected, which was great. But he forgot my drink. He offered to come back. He came back about 15 minutes later but with the wrong drink. The food was ok. The lentil soup had no flavor and seemed thick at the bottom but thin and watery on top. Not normally how lentil soup is. Overall a poor experience.
We ordered two grilled cheese combos and two orders of chicken tenders with BBQ Sauce. The fries were undercooked and basically just mush. My sandwich was almost black on one side and completely uncooked on the other side. My husband’s sandwich was the perfect golden brown, but the cheese was unmelted. We got a side of BBQ Sauce with one of the tenders, but ranch with the other tender. Although you couldn’t even call them tenders. What we got instead were small chunks of breading more closely resembling rocks with bits of chicken in them as if they had dumped the crumbs of a frozen bag of chicken in a fryer and forgot about them. The two diet cokes were correct.
Usually don’t have a problem ordering from here, but this time was not so good. I ordered the veggie plate with fries and lentil soup as my sides. Once my food arrived I realized there was no soup and rice instead of fries. I honestly wouldn’t have been upset with this if the rice tasted ok. However, the rice had a really strong cinnamon taste that I did not care for at all. I’ve never had the rice here before so I’m not sure if this is normal, but I didn’t like it regardless.
My order was wrong and the food wasn’t that good. I ordered my burger without mayo and medium well, when it arrived it had mayo and was VERY done. The bun was also soggy. Delivery was pretty slow, but just a few minutes after it said it would be here. The driver was clearly not thrilled to be delivering either.
Their sandwhichs are always amazing. Found a new favorite place with a Ruben. The Mediterranean fries though were kind of a cop out they aren’t bad but it’s just fries with feta cheese on them. I order from them all the time definetly one of my favorite restaurants.
Restaurant manager, Laith, Was super friendly really welcoming and asked me and my girlfriend about the area that we live in. We got there a little bit earlier but only waited about five more minutes for food he comped us drinks and baklava which was very nice of him! Happy to have a local Ahmos again!
My food just wasn’t good. The sandwich had so much mayo it wasn’t edible, and very little meat. The burger was covered in gross American cheese, was a weird texture and had not much flavor. It was also loaded with mayo. The fries had a weird crunchy coating on the outside. I wouldn’t order from here again
I order two kafta meat plates and the meat smelled so bad and it tasted even worse. On top of that they forgot my pita breads and sauces. I love ahmos on dexter rd but I will never reorder from the one on washtenaw ave. I gave them plenty of chances to give me quality food and they haven’t delivered. I warn everyone to be cautious from ordering food from ahmos on washtenaw ave ypsilanti!!!!
I wouldn’t recommend this place for I placed an order and didn’t get my correct order. So I called and expressed that I didn’t my correct order and they said they was going to have the driver delivery me the rest of my order. It was hours later and it was cold.
The food was “good”, but they made several errors (including things missing), double-charged me a delivery charge, and packaged my grape leaves in the wrong kind of container, making them less appetizing. Also, the “meal” was on the bottom and pretty mashed up underneath the rest. Usually, everything from this Ahmos is perfect; but was very irritated and had to repackage most of it.
Very upset. We ordered online at 7:06. Was told to pick up order between 7:21 and 7:31. We arrived at 7:29 The man did not have our order at all. Grabbed the ticket from the machine, and put it in the window to be made. (At 7:30) For 20 minutes, we watched other customers arrive to get their orders, and even order after us, and get our food first. Our ticket was visibly put to the side so that the kitchen could take other orders before us even though we had already ordered, and still arrived to pick up our order before these other people even began their order. We finally received our food after 7:50. The whole point was to get quick food while we were out. This was not because they were busy. They forgot, and then prioritized other orders even though we already waited 40 minutes. And the food did not taste good. The wraps were terrible. And I’m not just saying that because I’m upset with our order time. It was all around bad experience. We won’t be returning to Ahmo’s
It was really good! My only complaint is that I wish the garlic paste was spread more evenly over my shawarma. Overall it was really good!

I’ve only had good experiences! The food is good and the delivery is on time or even early in some cases. I love their smoothies.
