I have ordered from here a number of times, but never again. It’s my fault for giving them multiple chances, but they have given me something wrong with me order every.single.time. Buyer beware. If you want to be surprised with what’s for dinner order from here. If you actually want what you ordered go someplace else. If a restaurant doesn’t offer kids drinks anymore take it off of the menu and don’t make it an option because then my kids are disappointed when their food comes and there isn’t one. Tonight my daughter’s beef taco was a soggy chicken taco. I’m done. Never again. Adios Los Amigos!
Loved the Chile Relleno and Nachos Chipotle, everything was top quality. Nice that they also included a generous amount of chips and salsa, which were great as well.
Order was incorrect initially, but after stopping by the restaurant they remade the entire order at no cost, despite the fact that only one entree was incorrect. Great customer service.
This is honestly one of the best Mexican places in Ypsi, if not the best. Normally we dine in and have always had a great experience but this time we ordered from GrubHub and it was just as good minus the festive atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was just as good and hot as if we were there.
Pollo con Chorizo was… to die for. Chicken Burrito was… acceptable for a quick dinner. The potato skins (with chorizo & queso) were a double order AND I’m obsessed… I may try and move closer so I can walk there…
One part of my order was wrong – ordered three beef enchiladas and instead got three beef tacos. They were delicious though, and everything else was right. Will be ordering the tacos on purpose next time. Yum.
When we eat in at this restaurant we always enjoy the food and service. However, when we ordered on grubhub our food was almost 3 hours late. The food was cold and congealed when we finally got it. When it had been over an hour without hearing anything from the driver we called customer service who had to get back to us. When they finally did she said the driver still hadn’t reached the restaurant do to traffic and it would be another 30 mins (this is already 2.5 hours after we ordered). This restaurant is 10 mins away from us. We placed our order at 7:15pm and didn’t receive our food until 10pm. There is no traffic that would delay someone at this time of night around here especially a 3 hour delay. We could have just picked the food up ourselves if we would have known. The only update grubhub gave us was an initial one hour estimate, so we had no reason to suspect it would be 3 hours later! After having waited so long and stayed up into the night just to receive the food we had paid for at that point we were only compensated with a $10 coupon from grubhub. The company should have reimbursed the entire order.
Ordered and paid for cheese dip, received salsa. Extremely disappointed as that was the main reason I ordered from here. Didn’t realize their mistake until I got home and opened the bag and contents 15 minutes after picking it up. Also had to wait 10 minutes after arriving for my food to be brought out. Almost like my order didn’t get prepared until I showed up for it.
I LOVE this place. Not super greasy food. Pretty friendly staff. The few times my order has been wrong the restaurant caught it before I did & called to rectify. If I had 2 more hands, I’d give them 4 thumbs up lol
The food was fine, but the delivery experience was not. The driver indicated the order was delivered when it hadn’t been received yet. Then, 20 minutes later, he showed up with the food. He also showed up well after the delivery window indicated he would be here. Might consider ordering take out from this location in the future, but would caution against delivery.
Excellent food. I ordered a lot of side items and everything was perfect. Also received a bag of tortilla chips & salsa, they were delicious. Fast delivery and the delivery man was nice and efficient. Will order again.
My food was great! My issue was with the driver. He called to let me know he was here. I told him he had the wrong address because I was at the door. I stated that I included directions because I know that Google maps has my address wrong. I hear him read the directions stating that I’m by the first set of dumpsters. I see him leave my court, but he doesn’t return. So, I say I think you are in the next court, there’s only one way in/out. I asked if he was just here with lights flashing and that my street has the two entrances, shaped like a U. He was at the wrong end. He says ok and hangs up. Then he arrives within 1 minute. He puts up his phone and says you didn’t provide any directions… I’m like OK… But, I heard him read them…
It was decent Mexican food. The reviews warning that they ignore messages were correct so that was annoying. I might order it again in a pinch since there aren’t any others that deliver…but wasn’t enough of a fan that this would be in the regular rotation.
I love this restaurant in person, but I’m disappointed with my ordering experience getting delivery. I made sure to put in my item notes, no beef. I can’t eat beef and it makes me sick and they still added it. I was so disappointed and they didn’t even answer the phone when I tried to call about it.
I hesitate to write this, but to my chagrin I discovered a fairly large chunk of rock/stone in my beef chimichanga. It measured about 14mm by 6mm. I still have it sitting on my desk. But, other than that, the food was pretty good! Tortilla chips are to die for. The included salsa was pretty good as well. Fresh tasting with a nice mild to low medium heat. Wish I could order more of both separately online! :/ All in all, the food is great. Just watch for stones, my amigos! 😉 (I’m hoping it was a fluke.)
This was the best food and online ordering experience. Los Amigos met all of our special requests and the food was very hot when it arrived. The fried ice cream was solid and cold, not melted. We were very impressed. Also, our driver was great! Grubhub is the best food delivery choice out there!
We are so sick of the pass the buck attitude between the restaurants and grub hub. We are a family of 5 and more often they not one persons order is missing. It is bit simply enough to refund that one order. It throws the whole dinner dynamic off. Further if we re-order the missing item we pay double delivery fees and double time. No one wants to help with this happens. Everyone blames the customer. The whole order should always be refunded without 44 minutes or phone calls between the restaurant and Grub Hub. Eventually they did refund our entire order after I threatened to return the food we did receive to the restaurant.
This used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant. They’ve changed their menu, and not for the better. Their cheese dip used to be a white queso which was delicious. They’ve switched it to a yellow cheese. Many dishes that have been my favorites use this cheese. Ruined all my favorites. I won’t be returning to the restaurant nor ordering from them online either. 🙁
The food was fantastic. It was hot & exactly as ordered. Based upon other experiences, we believe that GrubHub is trying to do a decent job. The problem for us seems to stem from the resteraunts, preparing orders incorrectly.

Apsolutly fantastic! Loved all the food. Look forward to ordering from there more and hopefully being able to eat there physically in the future.
