  1. No absolutely hands down one of the worse Chinese food I’ve had and I’ve had some bad. The chicken was try and stringy, sauces were not good, egg roll hard, thank God I didn’t receive the extra one I ordered. So on the up side the rice and soup were ok.

  2. Always great food and service. I’m pretty picky about egg drop soup and don’t care for it when it’s ‘gelatinous’. Chan Garden’s is really top notch!!

  3. Don’t bother with these idiots. I could drive from a favorite place in Lincoln Park to A2 in less time that it takes these twitching brain dead eels to drive from Liberty to Eisenhower! They blame the customer for the time the order is placed, rather than control the order cut off time, then they still want that top dollar for unacceptable service. 2 hour wait on a Sunday night! You guys make the call!

  4. Late, didn’t read instructions about how to contact, left food on front stoop outside. I’ve ordered from here many times with the same account, address, phone number, instructions, etc and have never had such poor service or excuses for poor service. I pre-tipped well–and always do–but the service does not match the gratuity.

  5. Food was disgusting. Worst chinese food I’ve ever had. Blsnd tasteless, chicken on a stick wasnt even proper chicken on a stick. Even the fortune cookies were stale. Should not be on grub hub, threw everything away. Highly disappointed!!!!!

  6. The hot and sour soup was thin, and didn’t have a lot of goodies in it. The dumplings had way too much dough. The shrimp with lobster sauce was pretty much just chicken soup with some shrimp, veggies, and a couple black beans. I’m used to that dish being a rich, thick brown sauce with a ton of egg and black beans. It probably wasn’t bad by strip mall chop suey joint standards, but Ann Arbor has way too many better options.

  7. Chan’s is one of a handful of my go to places to order from while I’m at work. The food, portion size, and prices are all good. I don’t think they’ve ever messed up my order — and I sometimes place large orders for multiple people — and when I make requests for extra green onions or hot mustard packs or whatever, they always accommodate me. The people who deliver the food are very kind, too. All in all, always a good experience.

  8. First off, had a good driver so no issues there. This was my first time ordering from here since I wanted to try somewhere new. My dumplings were fine, but my congee wasn’t thick enough. Then there’s my sesame chicken, my rice was mostly bland and the chicken tasted like it over cooked so it was hard to enjoy.

  9. Good food, good prices, good portion sizes. The people who work there are incredibly nice. My favorite place to get delivery from when I’m at work.

  10. I love this place and it’s usually great but I will say that this time the food was over an hour later than the latest time they gave for It to arrive. When I called to ask they seemed to have forgotten about It. I’ll order again but hope this doesn’t happen again.

  11. Em…… The only reason I would dine here is for the appetizers (sticks and wings). However, since the first time, the quality has been declining. The beef sticks are too dry, the chicken sticks are insipid (literally not marinated or seasoned), the so called BBQ pork is just overly sweet Cantonese char siu, etc. I probably will not order food from Chan Garden for quite a while.

  12. I ordered the orange chicken, white rice, and steamed dumplings. Sadly, the rice was the best part. The chicken was WAY too sweet, and the outside of the dumplings were disgustingly thick. I ate about half the food and threw the rest away. As if that wasn’t enough, the food also came 20 minutes late. Will not be ordering again.

  13. Food was bland, the egg roll was all the same on the inside, egg drop soup was a light yellow not a dark yellow like normal and the chicken fried rice had nothing but chicken and rice, no toppings, and they only gave 1 packet of soy sauce
