The order said it would arrive within 45 – 55 minutes. It arrived after an hour and 35 minutes. This is the second time I’ve used grub hub and it was delivered extremely late. You need a better system to communicate with your restaurants and you need better customer service. I tried chatting you last night and the lady just kept saying she was pulling my account up. Horrible service all around.
Golden sun is amazing. Everything stayed really hot even though we didn’t eat it immediately. I ordered the sizzlin combo soup without knowing what it was (my only complaint is there are no descriptions w the menu items) & was happily surprised. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten healthy food from a Chinese place- it was a brothy soup with tons of veggies & chicken & beef slices. Re: appetizers, just a couple small things to be aware of- the cream cheese wontons were a little overcooked & the fried pork dumplings were deep-fried, not pan-fried. The veggie egg rolls were delicious & super affordable @ 2 for $3!
Everything from here is usually good and correct, but namely very cheap for boulder delivery. Nothing ground breaking here just a decent go-to when you’re craving Chinese or something filling on a budget. Other notes, Chicken tastes good but is a little weird textured sometimes, and delivery is very reliable.
Solid, cheap, late-night Chinese takeout; I like it as alternative to pizza delivery when everything else is closed. One of my gotos is their shrimp fried rice (has cabbage, carrots, onions, egg, shrimp, soy sauce). It’s not the most amazing I’ve ever had, but it hits enough of the checkboxes to make it worthwhile.
We waited 2 hours for food and when we called, the lady at the restaurant spoke back to me yelling and claiming that the driver waited for 30 minutes when we had been standing outside waiting for the food to come since they called. Customer service is terrible and they are extremely rude when you call them to ask them a question.
The food was awful. Chow fun noodles are not cooked soft, and each noodle sticks together. Hot and sour soup is equal to massive amounts of vinegar and salt. I don’t even dare to eat the sour bamboo shoots inside. I will never gonna order from here even if I am starving to die.
The order came in good time but was not very tasty. The soy sauce was sweet instead of salty and the containers were not eco friendly at all which downgraded my experience, polystyrene, plastic bag, and plastic containers. Overall I was disappointed with my order
The delivery person left my food by the garbage where the smoke break is to someone I didn’t know pick up my food and I got it 30 minutes later after my break was over.The address was correct but he was lazy I guess he except a 20 dollar tip for 20 dollar order.I am never ordering from here again.
The food is always disappointing. They have so many items on the menu but they really only make a few. Every chicken dish is the exact same chicken just with a different sauce poured over it. I ordered chicken lo mein and it smelled and tasted like fish, as if the lo mein is all made the same but with different meats thrown in. Strange they would use the shrimp version as the base, but that’s what this tasted like. The meat is always tough and dry, and the breading too thick and soggy. I always forget how bad it is when I order it and then I’m quickly reminded when the food shows up and it all tastes bland and like they prepared it yesterday and put it in the microwave when the order came in. Sure, delivery is free and quick, but the food is 1/10
Food is inedible. So salty it was unbearable. But that makes sense because they clearly want to distract from the super low quality beef that somehow tastes like fish. Soda was hot. And 30 minutes after eating what I could , my guts was bubbling like a jacuzzi. I will never again order from this place. Follow my lead. 3 stars because the driver was good.
We ordered sesame chicken sesame beef and a coke the coke was so hot it exploded when I opened and the beef was too tough to even eat the chicken was good but container was dumped upside down in bag and leaked all over everything in the bag very poor experience
Delicious, will order again! I can’t get enough of the egg drop & hot and sour soup; they were quite large for the price & the firecracker chicken & sesame tofu entrees were very flavorful. I’m actually ordering from them again as I type this! Yum!
Food was good as usual. Tried the pepper steak I stead of my usual sesame chicken/orange chicken and it was very bland. I highly recommend the chicken. It’s very flavorful. Our driver delivered it to the wrong apartment but this happens all the time. Overall all everyone’s food was great.
Great food, its been a while since I lived in Boulder and the quality is still amazing! Went all out and ordered the Spicy beef & mushrooms, a order of wontons & an appetizer plate for two just to try some of every thing. The flavors were great tho the beef& mushroom could definitely use some more spice!
