  1. The food we received was delicious, but we were missing a roll. I was able to reach out to GrubHub support and was refunded for the missing food, but I would have expected a doublecheck to have been done at the restaurant.

  2. I pre ordered my food at 3pm in the afternoon for a 5:45 delivery. At 6:05 pm the app still. Said my order is in the works. I called the restaurant, the rep said my food was ready 20 mins+ ago. There was not driver to pick it up. So what I get to eat cold food ? Called Grubhub next, was lied too . Placed on hold for several minutes, to be lied to again. Currently I still do not have my food, and I know my food will be cold by the time I get it . Thanks Grubhub, you lost a customer . Oh yeah I am still on hold …

  3. The food establishment was fine! The delivery drivers though continue to be late, rude, and unprofessional despite my tipping them before they even arrive to my door. This last driver in particular expected me to go find them. They did not even attempt to call and ask for my assistance- and no one else has gotten lost before. Not to mention the backhanded comment as my food is handed to me. “I’ve been here for five minutes and now you’re coming out to meet me?”

  4. Food was good but an hour late. When I called the restaurant they said they only got the order 15 minutes before it was supposed to be delivered, but grubhub confirmed when I sent it (an hour and 15 minutes before delivery was scheduled). Not sure whose fault it was but the service was unacceptable.

  5. The order showed to be ready for pickup and upon arrival I had to wait 30 minutes for the order. Seems like they didn’t start on my order until I actually got to the restaurant. I love this place but they need to set proper expectations for their pickup orders. It’s completely unacceptable. Given this was the first time taking out instead of dining in, plus a Friday night, I might come back.

  6. Unfortunately some of the sushi was placed directly on top of the hot items that were ordered, so it was warm. It would be better to package the warm items separately from the cold. Otherwise there were no problems with the order and the food was good.

  7. Order was correct, and driver was prompt and on time. Food was delicious! My only concern was that my sushi was in the same container as the main dish. Just like the salad was separated from the main dish, so should the sushi. The main dish( chicken and) the steam heated the sushi and made the avocado mushy.

  8. Food wasn’t ready at promised time. Waited 15 minutes beyond it. Manager was rude. I said nothing while I waited, and came out of the kitchen yelling WAIT ONE MINUTE! When my food was ready, he placed on the bar but didn’t say it was mine. There was another person waiting for a to go order so I assumed he’d tell us whose it was. I waited 5 more minutes until I got up and looked at the ticket, saw it was mine, came home. Hot items were stone cold. Sushi roll was tiny and I paid $10 for it. It was all rice. I’m upset I paid $20 for a terrible experience and want my money back

  9. The food is always great here, but my recent two takeout orders missed one side item in a row… missing salad or miso soup. Probably they got busier with a limited number of people working to get all the takeout orders prepared, but hope that this can be fixed for the next time…

  10. We ordered multiples of the same dish, and they ended up packaging them all into one, which we did not expect (though we didn’t leave a note specifying not to do so, so partly on us). Otherwise food was good, though sushi came in relatively small portions for the price.

  11. We have been eating the fabulous sushi from Haru for 6 years dinning in. It was combined with its other restaurant st Northcross mall. The menu was getting too big with too much business so they split menu and moved the sushi to the Research location. Since then we either pickup our order delivery. It is our go to step above place to order from. Hop daddy’s or enchiladas can only do so much. I hope it manages to ride out the storm to continue to be the only place we pick for sushi.

  12. Quick delivery. Good food. A little spillage but not too bad. Driver came to my back door instead of front door which set the dogs to barking nonstop. Also out the order right in front of my door, so I have to push it out of the way to get to it.

  13. The Chicken Yaki Udon I ordered was absolutely delicious — some of the best Asian food I’ve ever had. The chicken was tender, the noodles were perfectly cooked, the vegetables were nice, and the broth was very tasty. It was obviously made with care.

The restaurant was great and have the food ready in 20 minutes, but the driver Never picked up the food, even after one hour they were nowhere near the restaurant and we’re traveling in the opposite direction. The places they seem to stop at were other food establishments as if they were trying to fit in multiple orders at the cost of customers getting their food in any timely manner. I spoke with the restaurant myself to confirm, customer service those great and refunding the order. Driver should not be allowed to work there

  15. I freaking love this place. I can’t believe how inexpensive it is for how consistently good it is, particularly the raw fish. All the noodles are great, too, and I LOVE the spider roll. We order delivery from them about once a week. Can’t recommend enough.

  16. Haru Sushi is fantastically and consistently good! They have a separate fryer for shrimp, so my daughter with a shellfish allergy can safely have the tempura vegetables and veggie rolls with fried tempura in them. They carefully honor our requests for clean prep for her sensitivity. Definitely our favorite sushi in Austin!

  17. Have ordered 5+ times now, this last time was the first time they got my order wrong. I assume my meal was mixed up with someone else’s because of the 4 dishes I ordered only one was incorrect. Unfortunate, but the food is delicious and I will still be ordering again; hopefully this is not a recurring issue.

  18. I love Haru!!! Already missing it as I traveled to another state. I’ve been eating here before covid, fresh sushi, great service. Amazed by it’s carry out bento box post covid and have been ordering every week, generous portion and delicious ingrident!!
