Ordering was very easy and the delivery was in time. They even separated the veggies from the sweet and sour chicken as we requested. Unfortunately we got, 5 rices (we only ordered 2) but they forgot to give us our 3 wonton soups. I called and they refunded the soups. The food was good. Chicken is mostly dark meat. We prefer white. Overall, it was ok.
I left directions to my apartment ON THE SPECIAL instructions. The driver called me and when I tried to calmly explain what happened she proceeded to raise her voice at me. My address pulls incorrect on Google maps, that’s why I leave instructions. I tried to explain again, but just telling her directions and she got irate telling me she was on the road. Maybe she should pull over and take a deep breath before contacting customers. I called the restaurant and requested a refund. No customer should be spoken to in that manner. Very VERY poor service.
Driver had a nasty attitude. She expected me to go outside to the curb to pick up my delivery (after having been charged a $7 delivery fee). On top of that, she specifically asked for a tip, which I initially planned to give before having been made to go outside to pick it up. I work from home so I must be by my computer consistently from 9-5 so that was an issue. I explained to her why I was hesitant to tip her, but gave her $2 anyway. She made a very rude noise, rolled her eyes, and drove off. The food was good, but the customer service was awful. Will not be ordering from here again.
Driver arrives 45 minutes early. Great! In the shower because I’m not expecting the delivery so I ask him to leave on the porch. He calls me back to back to chew me out for wasting his time. I mentioned that the app has an estimated delivery time of 9 pm and he incessantly argues with me. It’s ok, friend. I have other options for my Chinese fare.
The dumplings were over-fried and it was just chicken, nothing else in the dumplings. They were very dry. Moo-shu chicken was served with MEXICAN TORTILLAS not the light customary pancake. The crab rangoon has zero crab, and the shrimp egg rolls were a little fishy. This was the worst experience for food and this was an early order on an easy night. No reason for such bad quality.
Pretty good. After I ordered I was looking up where they were located and Yelp came up. My heart sank. It’s almost all bad reviews BUT do not listen to them! The beef skewers are unbelievable! I could’ve ate nothing but them. Shrimp egg rolls were good but they need something, not sure what. Pepper steak sauce was a little sweet for my taste-I prefer salt- but still good. Beef was tender and there was plenty for two people. Delivery was most impressive. Very nice driver and was 25 minutes early!
The food arrived hot and was delicious. Only non-issue is that I wasn’t aware that a side order of “crispy noodles” meant deep fried won ton strips. Not upset, because they were delicious, just wasn’t what I was expecting. The driver was pretty terrible. He didn’t use the gate code I provided, so I had no way of knowing he arrived at my complex, then made no effort to contact me when he got to the apartment. Apparently just stood outside and possibly knocked on the door, but I live on the 2nd floor (entrance on the 1st floor) and had no way of hearing if he did. He didn’t try to call me or use the doorbell, just tried to hand my food off to my roommate who happened to come home while he was outside. No verification or anything. I had to go out to his car to find him after my roommate told him that she’d check with me to see if I ordered food, because she wasn’t sure. He wasn’t friendly and seemed annoyed that I didn’t know he had been outside with my food, or that my roommate didn’t just take food randomly handed to her by a stranger as she was trying to get into our apartment.
My delivery driver came up to the door and didn’t knock, the o my way I knew he was there is because my dogs started barking. When I went to go check he was walking away from my house. I caught up to him and thanked him for the food and when I started closing the door, he started going off on me about how I need to realize next time that the delivery fee for Wok on Fire is 8 bucks and all these other rules and I got to explain to him that I ordered off of Grubhub and they do it automatically for me and before I can even finish my sentence he threw his hands in the air and walked away like he just couldn’t deal with me anymore and he wouldn’t listen. I was livid. He seemed to be a worker from actual Wok on Fire and not a Grubhub driver. Because the app never told me my delivery was on its way. I’m not sure the guy understood what Grubhub even was, which means he didn’t get the tip I put on the app I guess. Very bad experience. The food was right though at least.
My food arrived 25 minutes early and piping hot! My order was correct and delish! Would definitely order from here again. Only thing that confused me was that I ordered from Wok on Fire and the sticker on my bag says “Panda2Go Chinese Restaurant.” Very happy with my order and timeliness!
THIS is by far THE WORST Chinese I have ever had. Google the restaurant only has 2 stars. DO NOT TRUST GRUB HUB. The food was lukewarm and some cold. Yet the Styrofoam box where sweet and sour chicken was in had been burned by something else or something. The soup tasted stale and days old. The dumplings were below average. The veggies rolls were mushy and smelled off. The rice was old and smelled off. I did not eat a single bite of my order!! DO NOT waste your money!! Google any restaurant you might want to order before placing it!!!
Food was delicious . The delivery driver was talking in Chinese on her phone so loud , and threw the food in my hand so fast , I almost dropped it , I was holding one of the bags completely sideways, like a juggler , trying not to drop it while bringing it to the counter . She said “here!!” And then turned around immediately and kept talking on the phone ,, lol , it was kinda funny but rude. At least everything was right .
The delivery driver looked as if she rolled out of bed & made the delivery in her pjs and house shoes. Her hair was a mess and her eyeroll when I opened the door just told me off the bat that she didnt want to be here making the delivery. She looked defeated and depleted and it showed??♀️ Kind of upset I even gave her a $7 tip on a food order for 1 person.
Very bland tasting, hot on arrival but that was about the only good thing about it. Received a less than half container full of sweet and sour sauce which was puzzling. Fried chicken wings barely had any meat on them. Refused any type of refund unless I drove the food back to the restaurant myself. Will NOT order from here again.
I think the food is great !!! Except when i choose “Spicy”, on the spice level it’s NEVER spicy . This time I chose “Extra Spicy” and it was the exact same as all the other times. Maybe spice level isn’t available to change? Even though on the grub hub site, it allows you to pick spice level for certain dishes .
The food was awful. I threw it away. The driver couldn’t figure out how to use the directory at the gate so I had to walk outside, open the gates, and he still didn’t bring my food to the right house. Terrible in every way, especially the inedible food.
Food was great We’ve ordered food here before through favor, but I would never order from grub hub through them again! Food was delivered to the WRONG address, the driver was extremely rude to my mom and said it was her fault and someone must have stole the food from our front door. I KNOW it was delivered wrong bc my neighbor from across the street came hours later after they got home and asked me if it was ours (we order a lot and they know it). It took almost 3 hours for us to actually get the food..
A bit inconsistent. The sauce from the entree was all over the inside of the bag and on the other containers, so it was messy. No utensils thought I did not opt out. In the past I have had incorrect orders but last night was correct.
Food was good overall, but all dishes were heavy handed on the garlic. I ordered a beef and a vegetable dish, both in brown sauce so as to avoid garlic, but both were very garlicky. Most vegetables in veggie dish were crisp except for the snow peas which were way over cooked and flaccid.
Orange Beef was amazing. NOT DEEP FRIED. Brown sauce glaze. Perfect. ONLY COMPLAINT..I DID NOT CHECK THE BOX TO SPARE THE PLASTICWARE. I am at a hotel. I ate with my fingers and cleaned up with a washcloth. Tolerable. The food was excellent.
