The food is always delicious (we’ve ordered several times in the last few weeks). This time though, they sent the shrimp scampi entree with fettuccine instead of the appetizer. I still ate it though, and it’s fantastic.
the food is awesome but my order is always missing something. i always check my order when i pick up my food and have to go back in for something. does GrubHub not check the order before delivery? because i ordered a sandwich, didn’t get it, and now i am still waiting for it. it’s 8:48 pm, no sandwich. ordered it at 6:41. check it. i paid you guys $4 plus tip. shouldn’t you make sure my order is right? wtf grubhub?
I have ordered from here before but forget things always come wrong. Today no tiramisu and I ordered two and got two sub sandwiches I also ordered a margarita pizza large and got a Med pepperoni. They only refunded the tiramisus. This is my last time ordering. Like take your time get the order right or at least refund the items that were wrong. —disappointed
The food was fresh , hot and exactly what I wanted . I always eat in but baris has many years of experience, they strictly follow traditional Italian recipes, using only fresh, high-quality ingredients & prepare each meal not only to taste, but also with stunning visual presentation in mind now I know includes delivery presentation was perfection as well. Best food best Grubhub experience I’ve ever had
Overall okay. The food arrived 25 mins after the eta provided. Also i received Calimari instead of cheese ravioli. With a vegetarian in the house, this is not so cool. The food was good but the timing, service, and attention to detail could be better. Lots of oil had leaked all over the packaging, possibly from the salad dressing. With coaching, this could be a good delivery.
I was so dissapointed in this food. We found it totally inedible. Beyond that, the stupid pizza was ICE cold. Like you’d stuck it in a fridge after you’d cooked it. WTF. The worst thing about the whole situation wasn’t just the food, though, it was Grubhub’s inability to rectify the situation or even take any kind of responsibility to the customer. The CS person I spoke with told me all they could do was contact the restaurant. She did that, but this is what they said to her, “Tell her we’ll comp her snacks on her next order.” MY NEXT ORDER? THERE WON’T BE ONE! And after telling the CS agent that at the start of the chat (because DUH, that’s my entire problem! Their food sucks! Why would I order again!?), she just totally ignored the whole point of the thing! Probably won’t be using Grubhub, but your competitors in the future.
The food itself was great, however this has been the first time that Grubhub has extended the time on my delivery and my food took over 1.5 hours to arrive…did not make for a great experience. My order was correct, however my food was absolutely cold. Since this is my second time using GH, I will NOT be using this service again, however Baris – GREAT pizza!
I have always loved Baris. Tonight’s experience was not the worst, but could I make a few helpful suggestions. I ordered a salad, but the hot meat was added to it for delivery and I ended up with hot soggy lettuce. I would suggest separate containers where the customer can add the meat after delivery. Along with dressing on the side, it was warm as well. Also, the bread was in a paper plate, wrapped in foil, but the foil was too small and it didn’t stay sealed, was all over the bag and cold. There was no utensils or napkins, which was fine since I was at home, but in the event I had just moved in and was not able to cook, this was have been helpful. I’ll continue to be a Baris customer, but I hope for a better delivery experience in the future.
Food was excellent as it always is at Baris. Pizza was still hot and the fettuccini Alfredo was still very warm and consistency of the sauce was just as it would be dining in. Very good pizza with lots of toppings. Baris side salads seemed bigger than what you get dining in. Only miss was my request for Parmesan cheese toppings/packets and double cut slices on the pizza. I’m not sure if it’s the driver’s responsibility to confirm order is as requested or if it’s the restaurant’s. Driver was friendly and prompt.
Food was delicious! Great tasting pizza and cannolis are amazing. The only thing is I specifically put do not knock on the door, call when ready because we have an infant that was sleeping. Very fortunate our dogs did not hear him barely knock because I would have been furious. I ran to let my pugs outside and had to distract them while my husband answered the door!
The pizza was AWFUL!! It was soaking wet. Literally the worst pizza I have ever had. You had one freakin job. Also, I called to tell Baris and the woman who answered the phone told me she is not responsible for what the driver does after the pizza is made. Ummmm ok. Pretty sure the driver did not dump a glass of water on our pizza. She did not apologize for the inconvenience, and did not take ownership of their own mistake. I decided to give this shop a chance, and now I will stink to chains. At least they are consistent. The fact this pizza left their shop is unacceptable.
I ordered the chicken parmigiana, which states it comes with a side of spaghetti and marinara sauce. I also ordered the 10″ garlic bread, which is pictured on their menu as a large fluffy garlic roll, and I also ordered a side of alfredo sauce to dip my bread in…… I received the chicken and spaghetti SWIMMING in alfredo sauce, no marinara in sight, and a sad little loaf of burned sandwich bread – probably the bread they use for subs. So, basically nothing that was in the pictures of the descriptions remotely matched what I got. Won’t be back.
Didn’t feel the portion size was appropriate for the prices. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and only got 3 meatballs and little sauce. Husband had lobster ravioli, which he loves and orders it when we go there but it only had 4 raviolis and that just didn’t seem like the normal portion size when we eat inside. Parts of the rolls were hard. Also if I dine in I get a salad with my meal but when ordering delivery that isn’t an option
Usually they do a great job, but they got my order wrong. I ordered a Stromboli with sausage, pepperoni, and pineapple. They sent me a Stromboli with sausage, maybe one pepperoni, pineapple, but then also included a bunch of stuff I did not order onion, mushrooms, green pepper, black olives, Canadian bacon. Of those additional items, the only thing I like is the onion but I really didn’t want that tonight. I was very disappointed.
I’ve ordered from this restaurant before, and it’s always been good. The problem is not with the restaurant, but with GrubHub. The sandwich I ordered did not get delivered. GrubHub refunded the cost, but refused to re-deliver, or reimburse me the cost of delivery or tip to re-order the sandwich. My only options were: A.) My partner did not eat, or B.) We had to pay close to $20 (including delivery fee and tip) for the $10 sandwich we had previously ordered. Bad service from GrubHub.
Person delivering food did NOT knock on my door nor did they call my cell phone to advise me they had delivered the food. They just left it on the ground outside my apartment door …. (for 20 mins mind you)…. I didn’t know it was even delivered until I checked online for status 10 mins after the scheduled delivery time range of 4:50-5pm and it said it was delivered at 4:51 so it just sat there in the ground… Did I also mention that I am home injured and on crutches unable to put weight on my foot …. so trying to pick up the delivered food was a pain in the “you know what”… I’m sorry but that is just really bad delivery service. (Side Note: the food I ordered from Baris is always fantastic so my issue with the delivery should not reflect on their restaurant.
We ordered 2 strombolis.. 1 with pepperoni and sausage the other hamburger and sausage. We got 1 with black olives, green pepper, pepperoni, hamburger. And sausage. The other looks like just sausage but could be sausage and hamburger if they look alike. But food was delicious.
I’ve used grubhub many times and it’s always been good. This time both the order and the driver were wrong. First the driver called to say the street I live on doesn’t exist. (Its a large apt complex) after walking a long distance to find him i bring the food in and one of the entrees was missing. The food for this place is amazing and I dont know if it was the restaurant’s fault or the driver but overall this was a bad experience. All that being said my wife loved her pasta sampler trio. I kinda liked the leftover pork chops in the fridge.
So, I had some problems ordering. I tried to get in contact with the restaurant, I couldn’t get ahold of them. So, when I eventually got my order, I was missing my drink and the food didn’t really taste like anything, which was slightly disappointing. I got fried zucchini too, cause it sounded interesting. It was just really mushy, which was sad. I also asked for no olives on my pizza, got olives anyway. The baked ziti wasn’t that bad, if I’m going to be honest. Though, that may have been cause I threw some extra bits onto it. Overall, it just wasn’t for me.
Driver was professional and kind. My order was incomplete however. It was a tricky situation. I was not sure if the driver was supposed to go back and pick up the rest of my order? The driver did not know either. I ordered delivery for a reason. I have a final exam on this last day of the semester with zero time to drive to the restaurant, but had to anyway.
I would not mind paying the high price, but only if the order was right and the food was good…it was none of that. A third of or order was left out such as salads and the sides of spaghetti to accompany the parmigian dish. The sauce was watery with no texture, like basic Ragu spaghetti sauce. I ordered the three-in-one dish, I couldn’t taste the difference between any of the three items. It was more on par worth some pre made frozen paste dinner from the freezer aisle. Edible but in absolutely no regard worthy of approximately $14 an entree…not counting all the sides they were ordered but never received.
I am really disappointed. We are long time customers of Baris~ and usually have a good experience. I bring out of town guests here I love the food so much. We very rarely eat out but wanted to treat ourselves tonight & I feel it should be said because I am quite upset. I spent $50. Received a cold cheese pizza (which by the way was already 20 minutes early… after a preorder requesting a certain time). I can forgive that, but my order was cold. Cold, after arriving early! The rolls and Alfredo sauce saved this dish because they are a staple here and a favorite. But barely lukewarm. My $13 tiramisu was the size of the palm of my hand. I never would have purchased if I had known it was so small. Just all around disappointed with my order today. So unfortunate, because we usually are satisfied with Baris.
I might reorder for a snack sometime but not likely. $12 for a small bowl? Besides being way overpriced for the food you get is pretty good except their desserts. Waaay too sweet. They all taste like pure sugar. The kids liked them ok, because I mean SUGAR! Ha. It will cost you $100 to feed a family of 5 and that’s with them offering a 25% discount!!! Overall, good food, overpriced,
Once again the food was packaged poorly. Instead of laying the containers flat, they were on their sides, causing sauce to run out all over everything. It took the enjoyment out of the meal because we had to clean up the mess before we could eat.
This is all about the driver. The driver left my bag of food against the front door. I have a wooden door and and storm door. The wooden door opens in, and the storm door out. The driver put my food right up against my storm door and left. Tinder the food I had to knock the whole bag over, spilling my pasta and sauce all over the bag.
