The chicken in the General Tso was hard and stringy, like it’s been sitting forever waiting for a customer to buy it. Tasted fine, but the meat quality wasn’t great at all. If this had been fresh, it would have been great.
Food was poor quality, ordered pepper steak ( I don’t think it was beef that I got, tasted & looked like pork & it was so chewy, I couldn’t eat it. Fried rice
The order arrived before the estimated time, so that part was great! However, the food was awful. One item was wrong completely. The rest was just bad. This may be in part due to the fact that it’s a cold rainy Friday night so the cook might have been in a rush to get food out fast. I’m sure lots of people are ordering out to avoid the nasty weather. Whatever the case, I spent $72 on a meal we couldn’t eat. The meat tasted funky, as if it were old and undercooked. I think we’re done with Chinese food for a bit…
Delivery took nearly three hours. I called at the two hour mark to verify the status of the order. I was reassured that the order was received and on its way. The food arrived almost an hour later. The food was cold and not very good. I doubt I will order from here again.
Took an hour and a half to get food, had to call restaurant and believe they had to send one of their people. By the time food arrived is was cold and we had to microwave everything. Not sure why soup and dumplings too so long just to be delivered cold.
We got the order in under 60 minutes and the entrees were correct but the food was already on the cold side, and had very little taste. All the proteins (beef/ chicken) were way over cooked and tough. Just overall no taste, let alone any spice
So I got the combination fried rice and there was literally 2 shrimp in the entire thing. I think if you’re going to pay extra it needs to be worth it with the protein you’re paying for. The portion was enough to share definitely so that was cool. It was delicious I just want more shrimp lol
The food wasn’t horrible, but our order was almost completely wrong. The only thing they got right was our soup and a soda, and our soup leaked all over the bag. The food itself isn’t terrible, but I really would prefer to be leaving a review on my actual order.
Pot stickers were cold. Pan fried noodles were a solid, cold inedible mass. Beef with broccoli had no flavor other than red pepper. Instead of steamed rice we received a third entree that we did not order. We have had take out here many times and it has always been hot and delicious. It is clear that GrubHub muffed the delivery big time. $40 for a terrible meal. A refund is definitely in order.
Another 5 Star Experience!! Our order was correct, on time, hot and the driver followed the current requirements. We’ll continue to order from Hunan Lion when getting Chinese!! Wish we had the same experience with other restaurants (3 other restaurants we’ve had HORRIBLE experiences)
